The tractate of Tamid, the shortest tractate of the Talmud, discusses the regular daily service in the Holy Temple—the sacrifices, the incense, the priestly blessings and more. Tamid concludes on topic of the songs the Levite choir would sing in the Holy Temple, accompanying the daily sacrifices: The song that the Levites would say in the Holy Temple: On Sunday they would say the Psalm that starts with "The land and all it contains are G‑d's; the world and those who dwell therein" (Psalm 24). On Monday they would say the Psalm that starts with "G‑d is great and very much praised in the city of our G‑d, His holy mountain" (Psalm 48) On Tuesday they would say the Psalm that starts wit
